Rose Almond Milk and Rose Thirst Quencher

Rose has a cooling property, yet it enhances the digestive fire (agni). This unique quality makes it ideal to balance all three doshas. In Ayurveda whole plant has been used for medicinal properties.


Rose drinks are ideal for summers due to their cooling property.


Rose Almond Milk Recipe: Helpful at bedtime to produce a night of restful and deeper sleep.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of organic milk or almond milk

  • 1 pod cardamom seeds crushed

  • 10-12 soaked, peeled, and crushed almonds (soak raw almonds in water for 3-4 hours)

  • 1 Tbsp. organic rose petal spread or all-natural rose petal syrup


Recipe:

  • Boil milk with cardamom and almonds. Let it cool at room temperature.

  • Mix in rose petal spread or all-natural rose syrup before drinking.

Rose Thirst Quencher Recipe: Perfect for hot and humid summer days.


Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbsp. organic rose petal spread or all-natural rose petal syrup

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 5-6 mint leaves

  • Seltzer

Recipe:

  • Combine rose syrup with lemon juice and mint leaves. Stir nicely.

  • Add seltzer water when you are ready to drink.
